A few snaps from the invitation to the launch of Next Women 2023, a publication about successful women. The launch was held at the Kampa Museum and included a private tour of Rony Plesl's exhibition. Among those invited were Danuše Nerudová, Tereza Maxová and Ivana Tykač.

Next Women is a long-term project by HAVEL & PARTNERS attorneys at law focused on the global trend of transferring wealth into the hands of women, women's entrepreneurship and investing.

On Monday, in between meetings held in Prague, we stopped by the exhibition of our favourite artist @lubomir_typlt . He not only arranged an extraordinary opening of the Villa Pellé for us (it's normally closed on Mondays, as is customary in galleries and museums), but he even gave us a personal tour of his exhibition entitled Levitation. Thanks again to Lubomir for an unforgettable experience!

Contemporary art is an integral part of our architectural work, so you can often meet us at exhibitions and galleries. But having the artist himself as a guide and being able to talk about his work in person is something that you don't get to do just every day, so it was something we greatly appreciated.

The sensitive reconstruction of an apartment building with a modern extension of generous duplex apartments in Ostrava.

This study has just been handed over to our client. The client is none other than the successful football player Václav Svěrkoš. We very much appreciate the opportunity to create such an interesting investment project and we are looking forward to seeing the original apartment building dressed in our brand new mantle.

KAREŠ ARCH interiors by KAREŠ ARCH is currently finishing the interior design of a villa in Prague. We designed this villa at the same time and it is currently under construction. For the living area of the house we chose pastel ochre tones combined with a backlit onyx wall.

The study of a villa in East Bohemia was just handed over. As usual, we offer the client a double variant for the facade – a white facade with wooden cladding and a dark faux finish in a combination of quarry stone. The oblique angle of the house's street part respects the declining shape of the plot and at the same time adds dynamism to the building. A hallmark for us is the cantilevered living floor with a terrace that covers the parking area for two cars, including the garage entrance.

Take a look at the interior of the garage with a collection of luxury cars, the exterior of which we presented on Thursday. This time the client has a choice of two options: A) Illuminated stretch ceiling in combination with faced concrete, with beehive-shaped lighting. B) Mirrored walls in combination with backlit ebony wood panelling. Which option do you think should be the winning one? Feel free to comment.

The KAREŠ ARCH studio in the lifestyle magazine The Black Tie. This magazine is designed exclusively for the private banking clients of @raiffeisenbank_cz, who learn about news from the world of business or exceptional locations and projects.

The construction company DESIGNOSTAV implemented two villas in the Ostrava region using our design. The houses are designed with reference to the functionalist tradition, both in terms of architectural design and the internal spatial arrangement of the layout. Emphasis is placed on an open common space that responds to and freely intertwines with the surrounding residential garden used by the house’s owners for relaxation.
